I met with my mentor (a CHT) for a discussion on a paper due July 16. It involves Janine Hareau's goniometer for measuring thumb opposition. There is no published work on the tool. Sadly, Janine herself did not publish her thesis (Bonomi, Janine Hareau. The Reliability of the Hareau Thumb Opposition Goniometer. WB 555.1 B719r 2001.).
Considering the unreliability of the measurment tools for thumb opposition currently in use and a lack of gold standard, I'm surprised there are no data or known studies of the Hareau Goniometer.

Get her to publish it!! We need this work! It doesn't have to be formally published - even if its a summary on the web it will help - its exactly what MetaOT was setup for!
My mentor wishes she would publish it! We don't exactly know where she's located at moment. lol But I agree with you, it should be published.
