Professor Sally Poole challenged the class to find the triangular fibrocartilage complex in a cadaver during our next anatomy lab. She said it was difficult. I thought it would be easy, until I realized I couldn't even find it online. I have lab on Monday, so I can't tell you anything about my experience in finding the TFCC as it hasn't happened yet. Whoever finds it gets an extra 5 points in class. I'm still trying to differentiate cartilage from all the other white stuff surrounding it that looks like cartilage.
I'm guessing the TFCC is located between the distal ulna and the lunate and/or triquetrum. I cannot locate a definitive photo. I have found some interesting x-rays of Colles fractures!
