I'm in Panera Bread procrastinating and feeling sorry for myself because I have to read 5 chapters in Research Methods in Applied Settings by Jeffrey A. Gliner and George A. Morgan. I love occupational therapy. I hate research. I know it's beneficial for me as a practioner to decipher research results and travel through journal articles supporting evidence-based practice. Blah blah blah. It's boring! Give me kinesiology and psychiatric conditions any day. I've been putting off the readings all weekend.
Chapter 1 - Definitions, Purposes, and Dimensions of Research
Chapter 24 - Evaluating Empirical Research Studies: A Synthesis
Chapter 4 - Research Problems, Variables, and Hypotheses
Chapter 2 - A Tale of Two Paradigms: Quantitative and Qualitative
Chpater 5 - Overview of Research Approaches and Questions
You see? YOU SEE?!
