Typing things out helps me remember.
The MMT and palpating position of the brachioradialis is pretty much the same.
For palpation, the forearm is in neutral (thumb up) and the elbow angle is 90 degrees. Give resistance to flexion and the muscle is easily palpated.
For MMT, the subject is sitting or lying supine. Place your hand under the subject's elbow as a cushion from table pressure. The elbow is flexed and the forearm is in neutral. Ask the subject to hold the position before applying pressure in the distal forearm in the direction of extension.
