normally, i'd lunge myself in self-destructive depression as a biannual ritual before mind-breaking classes hosting term paper orgies and presentation hoopla. today, i do not. i am closer to a personal breakthrough in becoming a "something". i'll have letters trailing my name, credentials framed on my wall, and secretive knowledge only members of the OT community are privy to. in the meantime, i'm taking
(1) human anatomy lab
(2) medical and psychiatric conditions
(3) research methods for occupational therapy
(4) professional issues 1
(5) kinesiology
(6) analysis/human occupational performance 1
and reminding myself that i am here to learn how to help people help themselves. if only i could define "occupational therapy" in less than 10 minutes of jabbering about what it's not.
